Sponsor an ISOM School:
For an ISOM School to be successful it needs the following things:
A leader / facilitator to oversee the learning sessions, lead discussion, and administer exams.
10 students who are able to read in their own language, and afford to pay a small tuition fee
$0.25(the price of a soda per hour of teaching).
A place and equipment to view the training materials. (Electricity, a television, a DVD player)
The training materials (video CD's and printed notes).A simple list that is not always a simple as it seems.
The tuition price is equivalent to an hour's wage for many Tanzanians,
and many who desire to receive the training simply cannot afford it.
Electricity and television are minimum modern conveniences
for most families in the western world,
but in many of the remote population centers here,
neither are available for hundreds of miles.
U.S. $40.00 will pay the tuition fees for one student for 160 hours of training (the complete school).
U.S. $50.00 will provide a DVD player for schools who can provide their own television.
U.S. $250.00 will provide a television for those who have no access to one.
U.S. $300.00 will provide a generator and electricity in areas that have no connection to electric power.U.S. $950.00 will provide everything necessary for a complete school for ten students in some of the
poorest regions on the African continent.
