Prayer is often listed first because it seems like it requires the least amount of commitment of the three. We believe that the faithfulness of God's people to really pray for the work of missions is critical to the success of the work that we do. Asking people to pray is asking for a precious, non-renewable resource; time. We understand that the "effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much". (James 5:16b)
We ask that you would pray according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and that you pray with understanding. Following is a general list of things that we are praying about and in which you can join your faith to ours.

Giving is an enigmatic idea. When we give without any expectation of receiving, we are dually blessed. Each of the missionaries who are working with Pamoja Ministries are in Tanzania as volunteers, and are responsible for living and ministry expenses. Required funds come from the generosity of donors, or from volunteers' personal resources. We are constantly amazed by God's provision, and the liberality of God's people.
